After many years of being out of school, yet while still teaching at Weber State University, she felt a desire to further improve her knowledge and clinical skills. With six small sons at home and with the full support of her husband, she decided to return to school to obtain a post masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Indiana State University.
